For some reason, one person creating a website to write about one specific thing in this year 2024, almost 2025 already, seems weird. So here I am feeling the need to explain a few things.
We live in a society (well, a world) where everyone just yells on social media, and then a few major websites here and there survive. Living chronically on social media has affected not only how we communicate with each other, but also how we perceive the things we supposedly love. Nowadays, video games are often used as a way to express the hate that people want to vent, and also as a tool to monetize that rage. Conversations and internet culture surrounding video games have changed a lot in the last decade.
This place may not solve such problem for everyone; in fact, most people will disagree with what I just said. Anyway, this is a blog that hopefully will grow a bit, enough to be called a proper website. The spirit will remain, though. It's my place to express my thoughts about Nintendo, to say a few words about games I like that I don't think get enough attention, and from time to time to write long articles about some game that won't leave my head in peace. I don't think, however, that I'll ever do reviews of new releases or anything like that.
English is not my native language, so I'm happy to be corrected if necessary, and I'm always willing to improve. I really appreciate any comments on the blog or social media, as long as they don't contain hate or bad intentions. I don't think this will ever become something with a large audience, so to know about Nintendo fans around the world would be an extra motivation.
Despite I don't like the term, yes, Even though I don't like the term, yes, I am a Nintendo fan. Whatever term you want to use, I won't care, I'll just continue to passionately enjoy everything related to Nintendo. It's another thing that sparks hate on the internet these days: you can't really love or even enjoy something. I don't have to say that I like everything about Nintendo because I'm a fan, it's the other way around, I'm a fan precisely because I almost always love what Nintendo does. It's something logical and simple that nowadays seems to be incomprehensible. This is simply about enjoying certain consoles and video games, there should be no need for a justification.
Although I've written for a few gaming websites before, having a Nintendo magazine was always a childhood dream of mine. This may be the closest I'll ever get to something like that, so I hope to make a big effort to make it an interesting, welcoming place for everyone and one that brings something new to the table.
Read my silly takes, comment as much as you want, and please let's enjoy everything about Nintendo.
Have fun!
